Privacy is not a feature of PrivacyBridge; it is our foundation. We believe your sensitive data should never leave your control.

Local Processing

All document analysis, PII detection, and redaction logic happens entirely on your local device. We use locally running Transformer models that do not require an active internet connection to identify sensitive information.

Your documents are never uploaded to our servers, and we do not have access to the content you process.

Cloud AI Transparency

When you choose to use the built-in AI chat (powered by Claude), only the text that you have explicitly approved—and which has had PII removed—is sent to the LLM provider. PrivacyBridge provides a "Transparency Mode" that allows you to inspect the exact payload sent to and received from the cloud.

No Telemetry

PrivacyBridge does not collect usage statistics, crash reports, or any form of telemetry that could identify you or your activity. The application is designed to be a "silent tool" that operates purely for your benefit.

Updates

Any future changes to this policy will be communicated clearly through app updates and documentation.
